How to straighten a curly headband wig?

Step 1: Prepare your curly headband wig

Use a wig brush comb the wig to loosen the knots before we start to straighten the wig.

Step 2: Secure the wig on a mannequin head

Secure the curly headband wig on a mannequin head, use a hot comb to press out the root of the wig.

Step 3: Apply heat protection to the wig

Apply some heat protection to the wig before straightening the hair. The heat protection can help to maintain the straight pattern and reduce the heat damage as much as possible.

Step 4: Use a flat iron to straighten the curly wig

Divide the hair into several sections, brush the hair out and use a flat iron to straighten the hair, from one section to other sections.

Step 5: Use a hot comb to straighten the wig again

You may find there is still a little bit of texture in the hair as far as the crimps. Never mind, just go through to use the hot comb to straighten the wig one more time. In this way, there's no little kinky or any little crimps in the hair.

Step 6: Apply some hair oil to the wig

Apply some hair oil to the whole straight headband wig, especially the hair ends, to make the wig looks natural and smooth.
